Fern is pleased to announce that they have joined the “Flex Talent Pool” program offering flexible, temporary work opportunities for experienced trade show talent.
The Flex Talent Pool program launched earlier this year in anticipation of trade shows returning in 2021. COVID-19 had a devastating impact on our industry and resulted in the cancellation of thousands of trade shows, causing many experienced and talented trade show personnel to lose employment. As trade shows and events begin to come back safely, we want to help and prioritize work opportunities for skilled talent that have been so pivotal to the success of our industry.

Epic, a third-party staffing agency will manage the Flex Talent Pool to help recruit and onboard individuals. The staffing agency will initially seek individuals with operational and exhibitor services experience in key markets and based on event schedules.

What is the FLEX program?
Flex is a ‘talent pool’ program offering flexible work opportunities on a show-by-show basis in the areas of operational management and exhibitor services for former Fern and NexxtShow employees, as well as individuals within the industry.
Why did Fern decide to join this program?
Business demand in 2021 is still uncertain and very fluid at this time. Therefore, this program will allow us to FLEX up as business needs necessitate.
