In addition to the day to day support, we are providing our clients; Fern is currently working on the curation, evaluation, and interpretation of available content to assist our clients as it relates to the return of producing trade shows and conferences. Our commitment to the industry has not changed, and our mission ‘to deliver experiences that result in meaningful relationships between our client’s audiences and their organizations and brands’ remains stronger than ever. Our goal is the same as yours, the successful and safe return to the delivery of face to face events.
We recently have formed three internal working groups to specifically focus on the areas of “hybrid events”, “health and safety” and “event logistics and design” whose goal is the development of considerations and best practices to be utilized as we return to live events. Fern realizes that the successful return to the execution of trade shows and conferences is going to take a group effort and that there is not going to be a one-size-fits-all solution. The return to large scale live events and their safe and successful execution is going to be a collaborative effort between organizers, venues, attendees, exhibitors, and service providers. Because of that, we are closely looking at sources of information from various sources and what they could mean for our industry. The information we are using in our evaluation includes:

• IAVM
• ESCA
• U.S. Travel
• State and Local Jurisdiction Guidelines
• …and various other sources
Additionally, we have members of our senior leadership team actively leading and serving on committees and task forces for the above organizations as it relates to the initiatives to move our industry forward. As additional information is available, and we publish our working resource documents of considerations and guidelines for the safe return to tradeshows and conferences, they will be available on the Fern website or by reaching out to us at continuity@fernexpo.com.
